Sunday Social

I am linking up with the above blogs for the Sunday Social.  Check theirs out as well and then leave your own.  I love to know little known facts about people :)

1.What is your favorite ice cream flavor? My absolute favorite is Neapolitan because I can't ever choose just one flavor.  I love almost every flavor and the only one that comes to mind that I don't like is Black Walnut.

2.  What is your favorite smell? Vanilla or coconut, both make me think of suntan lotion and we know how I love the sun.

3.  What is your favorite TV commercial?  I love this one because it reminds me of me and the hubs....

4.  What is your favorite day of the week?  Saturday, because it means that I have at least one more day off...

5.  What is your favorite way to waste time?  Pintrest, I would have said magazines before, but Pintrest makes me my own magazine editor of all the things that I love.

6.  What is your favorite article of clothing? My Northface jacket.  It keeps me warm and stylish without being bulky.  I could own 50 but alas  I only own 1.

  2. Your scent choices remind me of when I used to go tanning! Dad always said I smelt like burnt skin but I loved it! Coconut does make me think of the beach and how much I miss it! I love your idea of Pinterest making us our own editors! So cool!

Friday's Fav Five

Today I am joining it with a new link up for me.  It is hosted by  Living to Tell the Story .   My Friday Fav Five list goes something like this... 1. My three older girls were still up watching television together when I went to bed last night.  My room is right next to the living room so I could hear their conversations.  Although I wasn't ease dropping, I did start to listen.  They were talking about casual and personal things.  I realized that they are all growing up and their conversations with each other are growing as well.  It was like listening to a group of 3 women talking over coffee.  My heart wanted to burst and I may have teared up or actually cried..... maybe. I am so thankful for this wonderful bond they will have with each other for the rest of their lives. 2.  I am just thankful it is Friday.... we have had snow and strep throat at our house this week.  I am ready to shut the books on this we...

There is a light dusting of snow.  Nothing too intimidating...yet.   I am thinking... That a salad for lunch sounds good today.  I do not usually like salad so this is a little  weird. I am thankful... That I was able to spend quality time with my people the past week and a half.  I am wearing.... Work attire :( no more sweats until whenever I have to leave the house.   I am creating... I just purchased some new yarn over the weekend.  So I am getting ready to start a new scarf and some boot cuffs.   I am going... To Walmart on lunch.  Yep, back to normal this week.  I am wondering.... How many days until the next holiday :)  I am reading.... Just my devotional this week.  I am doing Jesus Calling again this year and maybe the Women of the Bible devotional as ...
