Well when I did post #100 I decided to write about what I had learned about from the Blogging World.   I have decided to do that again this time, so here goes...

1.  Downy Unstopables...seriously I wish I had joined this parade a long time ago.  They are amazing and make the clothes smell soooo good.  I intend to try the other scents as well.  I usually don't add any fragrance to things because of my allergies, but this product has not seemed to bother them so far.

2.  Whoa Wait Walmart blog.  I am a huge Walmart fan anyway and often know about the items they post before I see it here, but I also have made some good purchases that I love after seeing their posts or IG photos.  These are my new booties that I actually had bought before they showed up on IG or the blog.  Maybe they need a third contributor...lol.

Their picture, not mine.

3.  New recipes and link ups for recipes...seriously these are the best.  I have tried so many new tasty casseroles and plan to expand on my soup making this fall and winter.  They have been posting many yummy sausage soup recipes, but poor Lucy would have a fit.  Who besides this kid hates sausage?  Weird.

4.  This foot creme..... enough said.  My feet have needed this for the cracked heals and dry skin for several years...Hallelujah Bells!  I bought mine from Amazon.  It is also for hands as well and is recommended for those cracked dry hands of winter.   I may need to buy a vat of it.

5.  I have added many new apps to my phone based on the opinions of other bloggers. Apps that have made being a working wife and mother so much easier.  My IPhone really is my personal assistant. But after having my broken phone fiasco a couple of weeks ago.  I have learned what information needs to be written down else where.  I had grown to rely on it's convenience a little more than I should have.  Lesson learned.  My paper calendar is getting way more love these days :)

Thank you to those of you who read my blog from time to time.  I am enjoying  the experience of blogging and learn so much from others.

Here is to the next 100 posts :)

Daybook....

Good Morning, I am linking up with  The Simple Woman's Blog  for the weekly Daybook For today... February 9, 2015 Outside my window .... Chilly (in the 30's for a high) but no snow.  Most of the snow has melted from the warm temps this weekend. I am thinking ... that I had a great, great weekend with my family. I am thankful. .. that my children view each other as important.  We had to plan Lucy's birthday celebration around Katie's work hours because she just started her new job and can't request time off.  Lucy would have never considered celebrating her birthday without her big sis present. I am wearing. .. my sparkly sweater again.  I must need the sparkles to handle a Monday morning. I am creating ... nothing at the moment, but do have some unfinished projects.  My mind has been exhausted lately and I am just chilling and puttering around. I am praying ... for a family decision that could make a huge difference in our live...

Friday's Fav Five

Today I am joining it with a new link up for me.  It is hosted by  Living to Tell the Story .   My Friday Fav Five list goes something like this... 1. My three older girls were still up watching television together when I went to bed last night.  My room is right next to the living room so I could hear their conversations.  Although I wasn't ease dropping, I did start to listen.  They were talking about casual and personal things.  I realized that they are all growing up and their conversations with each other are growing as well.  It was like listening to a group of 3 women talking over coffee.  My heart wanted to burst and I may have teared up or actually cried..... maybe. I am so thankful for this wonderful bond they will have with each other for the rest of their lives. 2.  I am just thankful it is Friday.... we have had snow and strep throat at our house this week.  I am ready to shut the books on this we...

Your Favorite Christmas Tradition

We have developed many traditions for our family over the years.  We always open one present on Christmas Eve, we have Grinch Punch on Christmas Eve, we lay out cookies and a beer for Santa (this has been since my childhood), sprinkle oatmeal in the yard for the reindeer, have sparkling grape juice and chocolate eclairs on Christmas morning, and we go see a movie as a family on Christmas afternoon at the movie theater.   Leading up to Christmas we have chocolate advent calendars, have fun with R.J. our Elf on the Shelf, go to the surrounding towns that have light displays on a  snowy evening, attend  the Santa breakfast in town, and enjoy the school's Christmas program.   We have many family dinners and get togethers to attend to wish everyone a wonderful holiday and spend quality time with the ones we love.    My favorite tradition?  Probably leaving cookies and beer for Santa.  I don't know how it started but...
